Twin Spirit grew up in a household that loved music...

She spent most of her youth performing in various theatre and dance troupes, but it wasn't until a performance one year in high school when her aunt asked to sing the theme to "Mohagany" that Twin Spirit realized she had a special gift. During the performance, all eyes were glued to her in trance-like amazement. It was then that she knew her mission...

She attended the University of Arkansas in Pine Bluff as a Pre-Med major, but soon her calling beconed her again to start on her creative journey. She started writing poetry, which eventually grew into songs, and once again, she was back on track!

She joined a female group and together with Authentic Soul, enjoyed a run of performing and writing, being featured in big cities accross the region from St. Louis, MO to Atlanta, GA. Now, an accomplished singer/songwriter, Tasha set her sights on new terrirory.

Through the devine workings of the universe, she was eventually brought to an Afrodesia show, where she sat in a few times before eventually joining the band.

Always a seeker of new adventures, she is still dedicated to pursuing her art and writing. She is currently working on a solo project that is full of soulful, jazzy love melodies and positive vibes, for the hearts, minds, and souls of the world.
