Clifford Hawkins is part of Little Rock's musical elite. He first hit the scene in the early 60's. Soon, this regionally acclaimed musician soon found his home, composing and arranging for one of Arkansas' first breakout groups, Right Track (True Soul Records).

He credits his style to the influences of such artists as Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, and Lee Morgan.. Joining Afrodesia in 2001," Hawk" has played seemingly every venue throughout the southeast. Now, in addition to playing and recording with Afrodesia, the "always at work "Hawk focuses his attention on arranging new compositions.
