Since it's inception as the self declared house band of Kuumba Cafe in 1996, Afrodesia has positioned itself among the vanguard of conscious live music. A fresh combination of decadent rhythms, universal lyrics and untamed melodies; this emerging band challenges audiences to thrive on a mission to make the world a smaller place.

Homegrown in Little Rock, Afrodesia is living proof that big things come in small packages. Staple local venues such as Juanita's, Sticky Fingerz and Chester's, welcome their dedication to deepening grooves below surface to the core of hip swinging redemption.
