"Sometimes it's not enough to just climb the mountain and continue in your journey. Depending on where it is you're trying to go...you might have to knock that f*cker down." -Ajamu Kojo Chioke Walker "Hey guys and gals justed wanted to say that I think you are indeed one of the hottest bands around and your fan base proves this over and over. I wish you all continued success and I look forward to that one day that you get that big break and get the opportunity to grace the land with your many talents and love that you display at each show. I know I can be called bias about your band being that I am the oldest brother of the band leader but that is not the case. I indeed feel like the rest of your fans. You provide good, vibrant entertainment. I always look forward to leaving Texas, heading to Little Rock, in hopes of catching one of your shows. Keep on keeping on. Love what you guys do. Keep the music coming!" -A. Nonymous "Tasha is the best dancer in the world!!!" -Mindy I really enjoyed Afrodesia on Friday, April 27, 2001 at the UALR Trojanfest. Keep the "flow" going. -TMB Afrodesia is the voice of true music lovers:each show and song, original or cover is a righteous experience. Thank you for using your talents to entertain and educate. One love -Christopher H. Hi Tim, I checked out the first and second set of your performance on the web. I really enjoyed it! Tasha is very talented and the band is great. I felt your vibe from the first set but when you started the the second set with the music from "Get to Know Ya" I was hooked. When you and your band make it to St. Louis again, please let me know. I will definitely come to your performance. It was very nice to meet you and I hope you had an enjoyable time here in St. Louis. Take Care. -Colette B. I consider myself blessed to have come across your music. It is by far the funkiest sh*t I've ever heard and I am now a true fan. I'm listening to one of your performances and you are now performing Erykah's joint "Didn't Ya Know". I had to pause when I heard that because I consider her to be a true queen ( I believe the same about myself). Please tell me where I can pick up your music and if you are performing anywhere near the DC / Maryland / Virginia area. I look forward to your reply. Peace and Blessings. --Jordan Sometimes you are sad.... and no one sees your tears.... sometimes you are happy.... and no one sees your smile.... but the times that you fart.... trust me... people smell that sh*t. -D. E. I am one of your biggest fans and am at any show I can possibly make. My friends have appointed me the "social director" in our circle and if you are playing, that is where I direct our traffic to. My group is mixed racially and we are very well aware of "CPT". A little leeway is one thing, but I was at your show at Juanita's (which they told us started at 9:00), it started at 11:00. I came to your show last night, advertised on your website as 9:00; you started at 11:00. My friends are bitching me out with a two hour delay as if it is my fault. Some have said they won't come to another show because of the wait and they feel they were cheated with a $6.00 to $8.00 cover charge and closing times at bars don't change. My suggestion is that you advertise the actual time you are going to start and try to hit within 30 minutes. Your band is awesome and I personally will not stop coming out (even though I have to be up every morning by 6:00 a.m.). I think this is the best mix of talent that you have ever had. I appreciate what you do for the entertainment world and am always very impressed with both your talent and your generosity with others. Most of the people in the music industry are very stingy with their stage and microphones. You are always so cool with people who have talent and nowhere to show it off. That says a lot for your character. Just wanted to pass along what I hear from the fans. Positive vibes. -E. J. (our apologies for those two shows. -T.A.) Never be afraid to try something new; remember that amateurs built the Ark, professionals built the Titanic. -A. Nonymous Hi, my name's Meghan and Ilive in little rock . I never heard of u guyz before and then Tim Anthony came to Central High, my school, on career day. He talked to us about the arts and performing and stuff, and I really liked it when he played the piano for us. He got me interested in the Arts and now Iwant to be a performer too. So I'd just like to thank him for that. and Ii listened to your band and think u guyz r really awesome! Ok... well, thanx for listening to me.... bye! -Thank you Meghan ... and just when we thought there was nothing left, when it would not come again, inspiration finds us- sometimes on a blue note, sometimes on a high note- in his adorable little smile; the wind in her hair. Embrace it, feel it. Be smooth, Be beautiful- just Be. Groove out soul brotha! Love the page, the music; keep it funky! Peace and Blessings, -A. Hampton
